In Her Own Words

I've been doing this long enough to know that the best moments happen when people stop thinking about being photographed. My job is to make that happen as fast as possible. I know what matters to you before I ever show up, because we've already had that conversation. So on the day itself I can read the room, stay out of the way, and step in only when it counts.

My favorite weddings are the ones where everyone is so fully in it that they forget everything else. That's when the real moments happen. The ones that don't look staged because they weren't. The ones you look back at and remember not just how things looked but how good it felt to actually be there.

What I'm always chasing is that moment when someone opens their gallery and gets taken back. Not just reminded of the day but actually transported to it. To look at a photo and feel what they felt walking down the aisle or raging on the dance floor. That only happens when the images are honest enough to hold the emotion. That's the whole thing for me.
