Tribeca Rooftop Wedding | Molly + Andrew

by Lisa Ziesing

It was only fitting that Molly and Andrew were married in New York. It’s where Andrew proposed a few days before Valentines Day when he picked Molly up from work. They took a walk through Central Park and straight to her favorite spot - Strawberry Fields. It was at that moment Andrew got down on one knee and popped the question. And loving the city as much as they do, the couple celebrated in a quintessential New York City way with drinks at the Rainbow Room at the top of Rockefeller Center.

So while they couple first met as students at Indiana University, it was a no brainer that they were married in the New York. They turned to the bride’s sister, Katey Clark, a wedding planner at Lemon & Lime Event Design in Baltimore to design this chic black and white wedding with epic views overlooking the Manhattan skyline. RHOP Candiace Dillard weds at Andrew Mellon Auditorium | Candiace Dillard + Chris Bassett

by Abby Jiu

How does that fairy tail go again... Once upon a time, a former Miss United States becomes a famed reality star and weds D.C. restaurateur, Chris Bassett. Married in gilded celebration at Andrew Mellon Auditorium and planned to a tee by none other than Strawberry Milk Events. We captured the moments, but People Magazine captured the exclusive!

Her resume is long while she's quite petite – Candiace Dillard, 2013's Miss United States pageant queen and more recently a cherry-blossom of RHOP reality star on Bravo. She's a self-proclaimed girly girl with southern charms to boot. And with all of this going for our a former beauty queen, it was no surprise her wedding would don just as much glitz and all the glam!

According to, Miss Candiace Dillard traded in her “pageant gown for a wedding gown” and welcomed friends, family and famed onto the stage of her wedded dreams. Outfitted with décor created by Social Supply Events, including mercury glass-inspired floors, gilded flower filled boxes and beaded chandeliers draped in rosebuds by Edge Floral Event Design.

Having worn her share of pageant gowns, Candiace spared no expense or yards of organza while working with Karen Sabag Couture to design her bespoke wedding gown. Eight months, 80 yards of hand-sewn Swarovski crystals and 70 yards of tinted pearl real silk organza all made up a floaty ball gown and tied off with French bows.

And because her wedding wouldn't have been complete without her groom and favorite foodie and chef by trade, Chris Bassett! Priorities for a wedding are of the utmost importance and for these two, it was entertainment for the bride and food, of course for the groom. Working with D.C. based caterers Spilled Milk Catering to create their receptions mouthwatering menu,  the infamous raspberry almond wedding cake was made by ButterCream Bakeshop, while the String Queens, live band We the Fix, and DJ Tryfe entertained until hearts were content.

Midsummers Night Dream Wedding at Fairmont in Downtown DC | Alana + Daniel

by Lisa Ziesing

Who needs to find a local bridal dress shop when you can have not one, but two of your wedding dresses made in Israel?! Well, that's just what our bride, Alana did to create her show-stopping entrances in her custom-made Lihi Hod gowns. Draped in lace and delicately concealed by a sheer veil, Alana – alongside her parents, excitedly greet her groom. And in a traditional ceremony, under a chuppah arch of greenery custom created by Holly Chapple Flowers, Alana and Daniel wed with their closest friends and family around them.

But setting tradition aside, Alana and Daniel's reception was one that was dreamt into reality. Curating their special day with pattern purveyor Grit and Grace, they combined rich velvet textures, warm wood accents and lush floral layers that felt like a Midsummer Night's Dream in the fall. Guest lead to custom created escort card displays, which paid homage to the romantic parks in Paris. These copper tinted pillars were draped in vines of smilax, held the names of their guest and made a statement, to say the least. Transforming the Grand Ballroom of The Fairmont in such a way that still allowed for details such as the mirrored walls and modern chandeliers to peak through.

It was the truly the little details that made this wedding one for the memory books. From the welcome gifts created by local vendor Marigold & Grey, which included a drawing by a family friend – to personal mementos of petite salt and pepper capsules for VIP guest, created by the bride herself.

But there was nothing more memorable than our personal favorite guest of honor, Larry. If weren't sure you met him or remember him, he was their huge... white... fluffy... dog. With such love and adoration for him, Alana and Daniel even dedicated this entire after party to him, name Larry's Lounge!
