Paradise Inspired Micro Wedding at the Conrad DC | Emma & Collin

Emma and Collin originally planned to get married at Nizuc Resort in November 2020, but the pandemic had other plans for their destination wedding. And while the couple will still host their friends and family at Nizuc in 2021, they didn’t want their original wedding date to pass them by.

So on November 20, 2020, the couple were married in their home in Virginia by an officiant. It was just the two of them (and their dog) as they recited their vows and became husband and wife. Later that day, the couple took photos at the iconic DC monuments to commemorate their home. Later they went to the Conrad Hotel DC to host their immediate family for dinner and drinks to celebrate the occasion.

Thoughtful touches by Grit & Grace Inc were designed to honor their original plans. In place of a menu card a monogrammed passport holder was placed at each individual seat and the couple served their favorite drink, moscow mules.
