Thomas Birkby House Wedding – Courtney and Geoff
September 7, 2011 // WeddingsOn the day of her Thomas Birkby House wedding, Courtney was completely zen. She was actually doing yoga as we arrived to start photographing the day. And she remained that way the entire wedding day. Courtney is the kind of bride that we all dream about: thoughtful, caring, down to earth and absolutely beautiful on the inside and out. She had a beautiful vision when designing her day and collaborated with Carrie Moe of Fleurish Events, to create a timeless, effervescent Thomas Birkby House Wedding.

I adore the Infinity bridesmaids (from Etsy) dresses that Courtney chose.
Each maid was able to choose which way to wear it and can wear it again in a different wrapping style.
Courtney and Geoff met while attending University of Virginia, and included their Alma mater as part of their vows.

Ellen and Dave’s William Paca House Wedding
August 29, 2011 // WeddingsEllen and Dave had the cutest day at their William Paca House Wedding in Annapolis. I was a big fan of their nautical preppy chic decor. I have no doubts, this weekend was a record high for Washington DC with temperatures well above 100 degrees on this Saturday at this William Paca House wedding, but that didn’t stop them from having an absolute amazing day. Congrats to Ellen and Dave!

Guests favors were very “Annapolitan” complete with personalized mallets and Old Bay seasoning.
Ellen and Dave, it was so wonderful getting to know you two. You two are some of the kindest people I have ever met. And I love that I was able to see you just three weeks later at Lauren and Nick’s wedding. Thanks for letting me be a part of your William Paca House wedding. Even on one of the hottest days of the year, I love that you had an amazing day and didn’t let it stop you from dancing.

Courtney and Morgan’s Halcyon House Wedding
August 10, 2011 // WeddingsI think a Halcyon House wedding could me one of my favorites. I simply love this venue! The beautiful outside garden for the ceremony mixed with the contrast of a raw space for the reception. It’s just the perfect mix for a wedding. Courtney and Morgan‘s was no exception, and even though there was a threat of rain, their amazing planners, A Dominick Events, executed their wedding this Halcyon House wedding to perfection.
