Dave first saw his future wife when watching a game of Deal or No Deal.  He was drawn to the beautiful redhead on the game show, but he didn’t really think he would actually meet her.  Years later the internet brought them together on Match.com and Kate said once she saw him she was “instantly captivated and knew he would be something special.”  Dave on the other hand recognized Kate right away from Deal or No Deal but decided to wait a few dates before he told her the story of remembering her from TV.

And while the couple reside in New York City, when it comes to getting in some quiet time they often spend their time at Kate’s parent’s country house in Bentonville, VA.  In fact, Kate knew since the age of 18 that the country house would be the perfect spot for the wedding.  Not only is it beautiful but also holds many family memories.  Kate and Dave enlisted the fabulous Maria and Kelly of Ritzy Bee Events to design her vision of rustic elements mixed with a sophisticated style.

Kate mentioned her absolute favorite memory from the day was the moment the doors opened and she walked down the aisle with her Dad toward her future husband.  

Melanie and Mohsin were married over a brunch wedding at the Hay Adams this fall.  The weather could not have been more perfect for this sweet couple!  The leaves were changing and it was that idyllic time of year where it is truly fall weather in the city.  At the Top of the Hay all the windows were open and guests enjoyed the city views that makes the Hay Adams so quintessential.  Melanie chose a timeless palette of white and red, and I don’t know if I have ever seen such a truly beautiful classic bride.  Melanie’s exquisite taste with a Rivini dress from Carine’s Bridal Atelier was perfect for the occasion!  I also adored her Kate Spade after party dress with a jeweled Peter Pan collar (complete with blue suede heels!)  It’s been so wonderful getting to know Melanie and Mohsin through the wedding planning process and see it all come together.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the day!
