Bridal Shower at Farmers and Fishers with Amber Karson Events

Amber and Emily, of Amber Karson Events, are the duo behind this beauitful bridal shower. The maid of honor picked the restaurant and then asked Amber and Emily to design the rest. They chose Farmers and Fishers at the Georgetown Waterfront, because it is known for its fresh flavors and ingredients and use of sustainable agriculture. The Harvest Room at Farmers and Fishers was a perfect spot for the intimate Sunday bridal shower.

Using leftover burlap and twine, Amber and Emily created small favors adorned with a butterfly for each guest to take home.
Inside was individually packed trail mix with a custom thank you tag and the shower date were inside.

London trip

Jamey and I traveled to London this summer for vacation. While it was my first time to the UK, I immediately loved how it was a lot like the US, but also so very different. I found the city to be such a great inspiration as a carried my Contax around to snap some pictures. The city had so many great flea markets and vintage stores to discover and the entire time I loved the hip, historical vibe.

The dreary day in London was so fitting when we visited the London Eye.

We asked another tourist to snap a picture of us on the London Bridge.

My husband and I went to Wimbledon and saw some great tennis. The grounds were flawless.

So, remember the amazing shoes that Kim wore at her engagement session. Well, while I was photographing she and Jami’s engagement shoot, I continued to rave about how cute her yellow shoes were. Fast forward a week, and I go to check my mail. I had a package….a surprise package. And when I opened it up, there were the cute yellow shoes that I was eyeing at Kim and Jami’s e-session with a note from the two of them.

Thanks guys, you’re the best!
