Laura Ritchie of Grit and Grace also known as the queen of pattern play, worked her magic and intertwined the pattern of the rug with the modern elements of the hotel. it was the perfect mix of modern and antique and she added in a unique escort card display. It was almost a life-sized seating chart, which was creative in more ways than just its design—the signs featured attendees' nicknames, as opposed to their first and last.

Meaghan says that the duo's first look—which took place on the balcony of their suite at the event's venue, The Line Hotel—is her all-time favorite big-day memory. She attributes it to both being nervous and excited and she knew that David would be surprised about the wedding dress she picked out.

When we took pictures on the front lawn of the hotel, there was live music playing and onlookers cheering them on. It was also the perfect spot for Meaghan to reveal her Gucci sneakers that she wore (instead of the traditional heels). You can see from David’s reaction he loved them just as much as the bride.
