Eastern Shore Home Wedding | Kaila & Mihran

Kaila and Mihran celebrated their perfect August wedding on the grounds of the Racquet Club in Philadelphia. The bride wore a stunning A-line dress with a sweetheart neckline. She opted for no necklace or statement earrings, had beautiful waves in her hair and a cathedral veil flowing behind her. Her bouquet was perfectly subtle with orchids, garden and spray roses, seeded eucalyptus, and accented with succulents. The bridesmaids were in floor-length dresses, each a different style, in a muted clay color with an undertone of mauve. The groom wore grey while his groomsmen wore bold blue. All clad with cognac shoes, which really tied the look together to be incredibly modern.

The ceremony was held with the water as the most perfect backdrop. The bride and groom stood under a pergola draped entirely in greenery and ivory flowers by the wildly talented Jackson Durham Events. As they celebrated becoming husband and wife and made their way back down the aisle, they were showered with rose petals from all their family and friends. From there, the couple and their guests retreated to the reception, which was held under a giant white tent that had contemporary chandeliers hung from within. There were trees placed around the tables and hints of wood throughout the table settings, from the handles of the silverware to the charger plates. Even the chairs were beautifully wooden, with inviting cushions. The three-tiered cake was understated and all white, save for the delicate flower garland wrapped around it, which tied in ivories and light pinks. Kaila changed into a halter style dress with a fit-and-flare bottom, which looked stunning as she and Mihran shared their first dance under the low lights of their tent. Beneath them, a stenciled monogram on the wooden dance floor. It was the perfect way to end the evening, and enjoy the midnight food truck!
